I've been wanting to put up some domains at Sedo for some time now. Though I have a few questions about it.

When registering a standard certification. It says you can't buy domains from over 10,000 USD, though it doesn't say anything about selling? Is there a selling price limit also?

Whenever you sell a domain. How does the progress work? You just transfer to another users domain registrar and wait for them to send the money throught paypal or something? How do they keep track that payments and transfers are actually done?

The certification is for purchasers only, this is done to ensure that anyone bidding over certain limits has the funds or capability to pay.

There is no selling limit, if someone is willing to pay a high price for instance $25,000 for one of your domains, then that is what you will get (minus sedo fee's). However, if you want to list a domain at a fixed price higher than $10,000 you have to pay for a Sedo appraisal.

Once a sale is confirmed you will be contacted by Sedo and given the opportunity to enter the current registar where the domain is held. You will find this in the transfer center under transfer details.

When Sedo receives payment you will get another notification. This will either ask you to push the domain to the sedo account at the domain registrar or to initiate a transfer from the current registrar.
This will come with explicit instructions so don't worry if you have never done any of the above before.

Sedo is the "Middleman" in all the transactions and will keep you updated on each stage as the sale progresses. The buyer and seller will not have any direct contact throughout the whole process, you can track the progress of the transaction yourself through the transfer center.

Sedo has a number of payment options: paypal, check or direct deposit/bankwire.

That is very good to know.

You said the certification is for purchasers only, though they ask me for this when I want to put a domain on auction. Probally you mean the limits are only for purchasers and sellers don't have limits?

Anyway, thank you for anwsering my question:).

You are correct, they ask for the minimum certification when you list a domain for sale as, in their eyes, you are also a potential buyer.

Thank you again. I have one last question though.

No, the transfer fee's are paid by the buyer as they are the one's requesting the transfer to another registar.
There is normally no cost involved in a push within the same registar.
