Hello. Some noob questions.

1. Can I sell domain at different platform at the same time (say selling domainat godaddy and sedo at the same time?) and Can I sell domain on these with different price?

2. Can I buy any domain that sounds good? say A Two words domain? even though estibot says "0" as appraisal?

Thank you.

Hey...and welcome.

1. Yes you can sell a domain on different platforms at the same time, providing you don't have it listed as a "Buy Now" option on more than one of them. The others, use a "Make Offer" option. And yes, price the domain however you like on each platform, it does not have to be the same price across the board.

2. Yup, you can buy a domain that sounds good. You can even buy one that sounds bad. Even though Estibot says $0 appraisal, you can still buy it.

Wondering though, in regards to question #2, did you mean "should" instead of "can"? Because just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I had a related situation come up over the weekend that I wasn't sure how to handle. Someone requested a price quote for a listing I had on UniReg. I sent the quote, which was good for 24 hours. Then that evening someone else requested a price quote. I didn't think I should give a second quote when I still had one outstanding, so I requested an offer. I ended up not hearing from either party.
I wasn't able to find any guidelines on UniReg and couldn't get ahold of anyone there to clarify for me.

Minhaz, welcome to NP!

There is nothing binding you to giving a quote to just one person. Multiple requests, multiple opportunities. Just as well turning it around and asking the potential buyers for an offer. Several techniques can be developed by doing this, eg. getting a feel for what your domain is worth, bettering your sales strategy etc.

Okay, good to know. And I like your point about getting experience and knowledge from the transactions.
Thanks!

Thank for replying.

I was saying "should I buy domain that sounds good and I do not know any other technical aspects (like number of searches per month on googel). Also when estibot says this domain appraisal is ZERO. So should I buy and is there good possibility that this two words domain will be sold for some profit for? For example HappyFeet.com. I do not know number of searches in month and Esibot says estimate price is zero. Is there good possibility of this domain getting sold for some profit.?"

Thank you.

I'd be careful about HappyFeet. it's the name of a chain of shoe stores, although it now looks like they call it Happy Feet Plus. You might run into some trademark troubles with this.
