By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Yes, I can understand that, but salvaging the sale would not be of much profit to me. The sale was ate by the SEDO commissions of $45, giving me $25~ something. I wouldn't take much trouble for that sale.

OFC I took at as a lesson learned the hard way. And, I feel the mistake is not mine because it was not intentional. I have my own reasons, legit one.

smurge, I had the exact same problem as you about a year ago. After contacting support they reinstated my account, but it is very frustrating.

Just wanted to shoot a heads up to everyone:


I have sent a 3rd email to them and still have not received any response.

In that time frame I have had my domains looked at by another reputable source and they have confirmed there is nothing wrong with them.


At this point I can only conclude that Sedo can't justify why they closed my account.


I will continue to email them until I get some sort of response and provide feedback.


As for parking domains with Sedo.com - I highly recommend you don't do it.

I do not know about their sales platform so I will not comment on that.

Looks like quite popular one, Google returns over 1000000 results for lsrael

Estibot offers $5400 as this domain value.

No BIN in mind, don't expect same amount of bids linvestor.com got, but sure this one will have it's buyer.

These have already been posted just 3 or 4 posts above yours.

I doubt if any of these are bids from people being scammed(or suckers as you prefer to call them).

I guess at least 2 of them are shill bids.

It is possible that as lsrael.com was a featured domain that somebody actually got caught but I doubt if it will complete.More likely shill bid though.

Did anyone of you sold something recently at sedo?

Seems to be a bit of a drought. I had 2 offers on 2 names in 2012, one in Dec and one in March. So far have sold 2 in 2012. One in Jan and one in March. Been thiinking seriously about trying the enduser path.

I wonder - I have around 10 domains that should be approved from Sedo to add to my sedo portfolio. They are on hold for 10 days already. And they are all with my whois info matching my sedo account info.

What about your domains?

Write an email to them and tell them.
Sometimes it takes longer (for instance if the previous owner had parked them with sedo and forgot to delete them from his account, then it takes longer, but 10 days is too much)

Im pissed at sedo!

I have 300 domains parked with them and today I went to log into my account and it said invalid password and username.

I contacted their U.S. support and finally got a hold of someone who told me and I quote: " They we're concerned with your quality of traffic".

if this is how they treat their clients no wonder their revenues are going through the floor!

They'll treat any scammers like that at any business. If you try to cheat them then they'll ban you.
