By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

There have been many compliants about that, but no word from Sedo

I would'nt think that is possible to do at sedo, essentially you would be trying to bypass sedo to make a sale which you can't do.

Some places are just for parking and you could do that but sedo is a marketplace and they want their cut/commision of sales done on it.

It is possible, see with suici.de for example, when you click the "more information" link you're being redirected to the owner's platform domainmarkt.net. That's what I want to do.

Does sedo accept paypal payment from india?

Hi!

Sometime back sedo had suspended paypal payments from india for domain purchases.

I just wanted to know if somebody from india has bought a domain from sedo and paid with paypal

Please let me know so that i can buy a domain and i only have paypal as a payment option.

I dont have a credit card linked with paypal.. My paypal is Bank verified.

Just a theory, but I suspect that Sedo employees are sharply divided into two sections: parking(PPC) and domain selling. The parking section appears to be dominant at the moment.

This is a major problem because the parking section sees domain sales as a loss of parked domains. There is no further PPC revenue when a domain is sold to an end user. So, it is an advantage to parking to reduce domain sales.

AFAIK,Paypal only stopped Payment withdrawal and not 'sending payments' some time ago.But all the situation is cleared now and you can send/receive Paypal payment to/from India.Since it's been a long time (more than six months),I am sure that Sedo must have resumed services for Indian Paypal users.

yes, you can. recently i have done a high $XXX transaction using paypal, for transactions above $500 they charges additional 3% of transaction value as paypal fee.

one can do upto $5000 transactions using paypal, but for transaction above $500, they charges 3% of the transaction amount as paypal fee. Like for an $1000 transaction, you will ask to pay $1030.

one of my buyer with 500$ price tag they given only wire transfer option to him (it was 10-15 days back) later he said he will cancel the transaction after calling to sedo transfer agent and they allowed to accept cc / paypal :p

even i saw a link in sedo which states the same ie 500$ limit when i checked that time

but recently i have made a transaction worth $800 and paid $824(with fee) using paypal, that time it was showing my limit as $5000.

also payment using credit card limit as 500 EUR.

About new domain management - Domain search button would be nice. Or at least I cant find it?
