Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

I'm trying to add a domain and get this error:

We're sorry, but we cannot accept this domain at this time due to traffic irregularities within the past 6 months.

What is a "traffic irregularity"? This domain is a recent pickup for me and I need to be able to add it to my sedo account.

I left voice mail for tech support but no reply. Any advice?

My sedo pages are taking ages to open, sometimes I have to click the refresh button 5 or 6 times before I can see anything at all.

It's a problem unique to sedo because other pages are working normally, so it's not me...

Mine aren't doing that. What browser are you using?

I've tried it in IE6 and Firefox 2.

My domains are working again now, but for some reason I kept having to re-enter the url, or click refresh if they had started opening.

It's happened before a few times as well.

Hi NameCharger,

My recommendation would be to send inquiries regarding "traffic irregularities" directly to [email protected]. These things are monitored and controlled by Sedo's Quality Management team and they can work with you to resolve this issue.

Sedo.com appears to not be resolving on Internet Explorer for me right now, only on Firefox. Is anyone else experiencing this?

we are doing 30-50euro per day with 1 domain on regular sedo account. Can you please upgrade our account to sedopro or speed up the process? I sent you a PM.

I want to ask what design templates has more CTR. Currently I use default template but it's the ugliest one. If change template to more beautiful will I get more clicks?

Problem with Registering at SEDO

The registration page keeps refreshing, whilst loading ADS... to halt this, I hit stop in the browser. After entering all details and pressing Next, the page is refreshed, no continuance, and no error message.

I want to sell one domain and that's it... can't register...

Hi Ergo,

We've found that "Retro Green" is one of the best-performing parking templates. However, you should choose one that fits the domain topic best. You may also want to rotate them about once every two weeks to see which one has the greatest impact.

Your SedoPro account manager has been notified of your request and should be able to follow up with you. Please contact him for specific questions about the parking of your domains. In the meantime, please also make sure that you are not using frames through your registrar, as this will affect the source code for the domain.

My thanks go out to everyone as well for making this a constructive thread and for not being too hard on me! ;) I'm happy that I'm able to be more of a presence from Sedo to help get the community talking and working together.

My first choice is retro purple. My second choice is phoenix blue. I use retro green mostly for financial names and phoenix pink for anything that is strictly female related. As for the adult templates, adult red seems to do better for me then adult black. Any different results out there?

Hi Keith,

Thanks again for your help. You are the best. But I really can not agree that other person are good too at sedo. They always give you fake answer such as I am using frames through my registrar. (I never use it and I also don't know that. This codes was added after it parked at sedo for few weeks or few months. They are add such codes to almost all of my domain names parked at sedo now.) I have contact my account manager and nothing worked out yet for two days. It's last over 5 months and never get any results because that account manager can not do such support but only tech people can do it. What can I say? I am not programmer but I do hold MS degree in computer science and used to worked as SA for larger Corp at One World Trade Center. Microsoft certified since 1997. Hope can talk to sedo's tech support person if you can offer the telephone number. Maybe I can understand what's they said and to make it fixed with them.

Keith...thanks for your help here.

My question has to do with Sedo sales posted on their website. I see only maybe a dozen or so a day posted but I suspect they sell more than that. I sold a domain on sedo for $7700 over a week ago and it still hasn't been posted.

Does Sedo post all sales made? (when neither the buyer or seller objects)
How much 'back log' do they normally have?
Is there a way to see all sales for the last few months?.... Weeks?
How often and when is the sales list updated on the Sedo page?

Again....thanks for your help...its appreciated.

Yes, there are some messages that go out from our system that are automated (such as when action is required by a seller or buyer in a domain transaction), but I can assure you that inquiries to support are not automated, in spite of how often we've been asked a particular question. As I haven't managed to get an answer from Sedo I will ask my question here.

I have a domain listed for sale at Sedo - serpents.tv - but when I look for it using the search box it never shows up can someone tell me what I am doing wrong, if anything ?
