Someone bid and won Fluu.net via the NameSilo expired-domain marketplace for $92.
On the other hand, this domain name is still listed on Sedo with a minimum offer of $2,950.
If I go to Unstoppable Domains and type Fluu.net, it also shows that I can make a minimum offer of $2,950 for it.
Yet just minutes ago, this domain, expired at NameSilo, was transferred to the new owner, because it had been expired for about 30 days.
So let’s say someone makes an offer right now through Sedo for $2,950. What happens?
The previous owner no longer owns the domain, and it has been expired for almost 31 days.
Why does Sedo keep expired domains listed on the marketplace?
If I go to Porkbun and search for Fluu.net, it says registered, which is correct.
If I go to Dynadot, it shows the same - taken. Correct.
But if I go to Unstoppable Domains, it shows $3,000, which is technically correct because they pull data from Sedo.
However, Sedo is still using expired domain listings where the owner is no longer the same, which is technically not fair or accurate. The previous owner doesnt have the domain for sale anymore.
