I'm looking for advice about buying an expired domain, that deals with our next idea niche, (in another forum I asked for the tech side questions).
Let's say:
I've seen the expired domain, which is a dictionary word, that everyone is using (not famous word), now I've check and the word is NOT trademark, many website use this name next to another word like : **********London and ********AMSTERDAM...
Now i see that the domain is yet displayed when you google it, and google shows the website with many links inside that website (was, it's expired)... I think is like "leftovers" of what google crawls it..., if you click on the link on google it give you "we can't find the site..."
I try to dive into it, and i found it was a sub-website, the company has a general website (not related to this niche) and they have like a menu that if you click it's direct you to this expired domain.
It's is legal to buy and of course develope my own website with that niche? it is not like I'm using their reputation to earn money, yes our niche is the same, but it is not in the same country,
After all, If it was not allowed who will buy an expired domain?
