[RESOLVED] GoDaddy is refusing to transfer my domain, how to escalate?

I'm just wondering if anyone has a contact or knows how to escalate issues with GoDaddy.

I have a single word .com domain that I paid significant money for several years ago. I'm in the process of transferring all of my domains (thousands) away from GoDaddy of whom I have been with for 15+ years.

1. I initiated the transfer of the domain 8 days ago along with several other domains to another registrar.
2. Via GoDaddy account panel I approved each for a faster transfer and all of the domains except this one transferred within 30 minutes
3. GoDaddy emailed me the same day (7 days ago) saying that they had blocked the transfer and I have to reply to the email which came from [email protected], to approve the transfer.
4. I responded to the email the same day, and again 2 days later and a third time a few days ago - they never reply or action the email.
5. I contacted chat support 2 days ago, and after an hour and reapproving the transfer; he *promised* me and told me *not to worry* it will be transferred within 30 minutes; of course that never happened.
6. I contact phone support yesterday, and after another hour she told me the domain was still in "status 266 Pending Transfer Domains", and the only thing I can do is email [email protected] which I told her I have already done 3 times over a week, to no response; so she emailed me directly a template to send them; I sent that 24hours+ ago and still no transfer of the domain.

It's now pending for 8 days and expired today, so it's stuck with GoDaddy - I'm unable to transfer as [email protected] never replies or actions my approval and I'm unable to renew as it's in "Status 266 Pending Transfer Domains"

Anyone know how to escalate this issue?

Hmmm no longer an issue now, 15 minutes after I post this the transfer completes! Maybe just a coincidence!

I have the same issue. I initiated the transfer 4 days ago and approved it immediately. I have already contacted [email protected] three times but no one has answered me. Every day the guides from the chat promise me that the Transfer Team will contact me within a few hours, but in the end nothing. 5 hours ago, another guide copied a response from the so-called โ€œDedicated Teamโ€ which says that they will approve the transfer within 1-2 hours. In the end, nothing. Then I contacted the chat again for the tenth time and here is their answer: "I am really sorry on the behalf of the previous guide, who make a wrong commitment to you. Once you get the reply from the team then only the transfer will be done", "It is not possible to transfer the domain today or within 2-3 hours.", "As I get this message from the dedicated team "If I remember another customer wait 10 days to get a reply". I request you to wait while Godaddy is verifying the transfer".

For 4 days, every time they told me that the Transer Team would contact me within a few hours, today they generally promised that they would complete the transfer within 1-2 hours.

@GoDaddy, is this normal?
