Sharing couple of reasons below and there are always more we can think:

1) China is located in East Asia.
2) Eight is the most favorite number among Chinese.

Though I wasn't targeting specifically to a Chinese buyer.

IMO East Eight also sounds like estate. I'm almost certain the buyer is a property developer or in real estate investment business. Anywho time will tell, congrats on the sale
