This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Bought on Dropcatch for $10+2 renewals
Sold for $688 on SedoMLS

It as a part of my new testing thats a part of a liquidation strategy(inspired by @twiki ) where I'll renew it for one more year, set a new BIN on SedoMLS, but keep it on Make an Offer on Afternic to see if someone types it in on Godaddy or goes on my landing page to see if someone will ask for the price or any of my targeted links during this period to determine if I need to keep it longer for a potentially higher sale. It didn't have any of those clicks in two years on my landing page, so that qualified for putting in for this test.

The buyer(assuming it was the buyer) did interact with the lander, but must have found it on Namecheap(where it looks like they provide a cheaper price for AFT/SMLS), so by the time I saw it, they already got it.

Good profits though. I knew it was a good name, but I can assume I priced it too high for AFT/SMLS. Now, I'm going to just list my BINs that are <= $5k on those platforms and it'll just stay at MAO for anything else that I believe could fetch higher prices, while knowing how low I'm willing to sell it for.

pocket // maps // dot net $299

"This buyer was referred by our SedoMLS partner NameCheap.

Sales referred through the SedoMLS Promotion Channel are subject to a 20% commission. Sedo’s commission for this sale is 59.80 USD and you have earned 239.20 USD."

I can't remember what I paid for it. I think I bought it on NP for a few bucks a little over a year ago. Paid one renewal and it was going to expire in 2 weeks. I am not sure if I was going to renew it again or not. I think I was leaning towards not renewing.
