MARMO.com for $5,000. Listed on Dnjournal this week. via Sedo BIN, lots of money left on the table, as I listed the price by mistake there, that should've been a five figures sale. I honor a sale in all cases :(

Oftentimes around here we're told that if it's available to register, there's hardly any chance of it being worth MORE than reg fee. Well, I'm a firm believer in the power of hand regs, and I thought maybe this post would encourage some low rollers like myself.

I love .com, but I also love the new opportunities (and massive ROI potential) brought to the table with some of the newer extensions. My ngTLD of choice is .online, so let's use a few of those as examples of how to turn a little into a lot. Of course, I'm in it for the long haul with my ngTLD's, but it's nice to make some sales occasionally as well to help fund the addiction!

UF*.ONLINE (LLL)
Sold for: $698.00 (full asking price)
Paid: $1.17 (hand reg)
507 X profit after Sedo fees

OR*.ONLINE (LLL)
Sold for $200.00 (negotiated price)
Paid: $1.17 (hand reg)
170 X profit, minus PayPal fees

DW*.ONLINE (LLL)
Sold for: $499.00 (full asking price)
Paid: $2.00 (NP purchase)
249 X profit, minus PayPal fees

ELECTRIC*******.ONLINE (two words)
Sold for: $579.00 (full asking price)
Paid: $1.17 (hand reg)
494 X profit, minus PayPal fees

[*USCITY*].ONLINE (one "word" city name, eight letters long, sold to the city)
Sold for: $998.00 (full asking price)
Paid: $10.06 (hand reg)
99 X profit, minus PayPal fees

Sure beats the casino, yeah?

Who in the city did you sell the .online domain to? The mayor? City manager? Someone else? Also, what do you do to avoid Paypal chargeoffs (since their seller protection does not cover domain name sales)?
