The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

With the way these marketplaces are going, I forsee a scenario whereby virtually all domainers will be left with no other choice than to build their own shop integrated with Escrow.com Buy Now button.
.
That's what I'm doing. Still working on the site, but it is coming together. $1K on a $5K sale is just greedy.

I like what you're doing there. I'm sure you've put a lot of thought and time into it. It shows.

Maybe there needs to be someone who finally develops a decent WP template for domainers that has all the bells and whistles and is appealing to the eye. ;)

I'd be a buyer/supporter.

I have been seeking the same WordPress template. If anyone here is interested in developing one. Please contact me.
Sorry to go off topic.

Bodis and DomainNameSales have Escrow.com integration and if I'm not wrong, there's no commission if you self-broker the sale.

Jen Sin, Escrow.com has created Buy button for anyone who wants to use it. You don't have to be with Bodis or DNS before you can integrate escrow button.

Thanks @jideofor!

Some would like to build a domain shop or domain landing pages integrated with escrow. I was saying there's no need to develop as the selling tools in both Bodis and DomainNameSales are already available for free and can be integrated with escrow.com. There may be other similar solution providers as well like Efty, NameInvestors & SmartDomainSale.

Many are not willing to pay 15% - 30% to a marketplace just to facilitate a sales. If the buyer is savy, he will contact the domain owner directly to negotiate. Else marketplaces are still useful for awareness. Maybe set the price 15% - 30% higher for such marketplaces to take into account the commissions.
