As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Finally received a query and after a lot of negotiations (I knew/sure that this name's worth that amount), we settled for $3750.
Buyer wanted to go ahead in Sedo, hence missed $600 in brokerage but that's fine!! :)
Cheers!!

Congrats Mads! I think, that $600 is the expensive broker service. With escrow.com or agreed.com you might to pay only about $100-150 :)

I have been researching the similar-sounding /related-named companies for this Brand Name I was selling.

Approached a few of them via email.

Now, what I see here in NP, few are for n few are against the Domain sales emailing.

I would not mail n spam for a small /average domain.
Only if the Domain commands respect and potentiality, then without fear /hesitation i would e-mail it to those who are related.

I would had stuck to 5-6K, but lemme remind you that this was my first xxxx sale, so restrained myself n sealed the deal.

( 3 more names are in transferring process in GD, will disclose the same hopefully by next week!!)

Hope this info helped.

Cheers!!
Congrats Mads on the sale.

@Mads, Congrats on your awesome first sale. Do you mind share your email text template on what you wrote to the buyer?

@JackChan - Trust me Mate, as long the Namez worth/ matters to the Buyer, email format doesn't really matter!!

My only Tip (n i still consider myself as a Newbie) is: Keep the mail short and to the point.

Cheers!

I agree with the short emails, if they are interested with the domain name they will reply you no matter what you write in that email.

sold GlobGear.com for $150 at GD auctions. Glob is a description of a large chunk of cannabis oil ready for vaping.
Will be putting up potglob, com and globpot.com at gd auctions.
So there is hope that I may make a bit of coin.
Glad to see someone knows glob and what it is.
