LLLL.com sale closed today:

FOTC.jpg

Inbound. My asking price was $15,000 BIN or make offer with $5,000 minimum.
Uni Broker helped negotiate with Polish buyers up from $5,000 to $10,000. I took the $10,000 because I paid $2,211 for it at NameJet on July 10, 2012 and after 7 years with few compelling offers it was time to let this one go for a relatively low ROI%. I will reinvest the proceeds into non-LLLL.com domain names of higher quality.

It was a smart buy, many employers require some sort of training certificate before hiring for this position, basically a short crash course program. An operator in an area of industrial area jobs could do really well with this direct match domain. Courses are not expensive, usually a few hundred dollars, but could be a good lead generation site also.

Buyer knew the market, and it was one of those ones that had a lot of end users.

They made you an offer you couldn't refuse, and probably saved themselves $5K, as they hit the sweet spot, on this 7 years a slave domain.

Pretty pricey purchase for 2012, I guess Taryn might have had something to do with that, and in the end they still make 15% on it, amazing to hold it 7 years, even thru the chip highs when we saw XJKZ.com sell for $2,500 like clockwork. Amazing how patience pays off sometimes.

Yaay, my first Squadhelp sale :)

Name: Granduno (.) com
Venue: Squadhelp
Purchase price: regfee ($6.99)
Sale price: $1,399
Commission: $490
Net: $902.01

I purchased this domain last December, as I thought it would be a great name for a general webshop. Brandpa rejected it, but fortunately Squadhelp saw the opportunity in the domain, and now it is sold via monthly payment plan (6 months). This domain is a typical example of a name that would sell for only low-mid $xxx on Afternic (best case scenario), so despite the higher (35%) commission I'm very pleased with this sale.

The site is up and running.

Sold for $250, Afternic BIN
Purchased for $1 (NS promo), 245 days ago.

The transfer from NS to the current registrar (register.it) was completed in 3 hours (Afternic fast transfer).
I have no idea why the current whois show the domain was registered 8 days ago.

HartfordHandyman.com sold for $125.

Picked up for $1.99 on 9 June, 2019 from daily dropping domain names list I prepare and publish.

Opening offer was $100, and I tried negotiating for $200 but buyer wasn't really caving in for more, countered $125 after almost a week, which I accepted.
