Good luck with your sales!

This domain has been sitting for a while and I've discounted it to clear before expiry. Haven't seen any interest at $280, got it at $199 and it also sold fast.

Afternic BIN, hold time 9 months. Drop reg.

Note: I know it could have been sold for 4-fig if renewed and kept for longer; but I have not much interest in doing that, have better names now.

A g e L o c . o r g

- domain sold for $1,700 via Sedo BIN
- registered for $6.99 with Epik
- hold time 3 months
- Sedo confirmed payment

{There is same product name for skin care I just found out.
My second sale on Sedo. Have had domains hanging there for a while.
First sale on Sedo was a year or two ago in low $$$ range.
I've just added quite a lot (all) of my Epik domains to Sedo portfolio, Sedo has MLS Premium, will see how it goes.}

Afternic BIN, hold time 10 days. Drop reg.

This domain is undersold but with a purpose. I have quite a bunch of dapp names and none sold so far. I wanted to validate the niche at this point (renewal decisions etc) and it sold fast - as expected.

( Edit: I use competitive pricing anyway, usually half the average retail pricing others use - this works best for me )

Hello NamePros...

Domain name: MetaStickers/com
Sale venue: Undeveloped (DAN)
Listing type: Bin
Seller: Me
Sale price: $ 8888
Sale date: 28 Oct 21

Purchase venue: GoDaddy Closeout Auctions
Purchase price: $12 + Transfer (Total $24.39)
Purchase date: 12 Sep 21
Details:
Only bidder for this. Still in 60day lock.

It also listed at Afternic with make offer but buyer clicked bin at Dan.
4/5 days before sale I offered this here to someone for $150 there was no interest. So I got lucky I think.

I was reading some Meta related sales..and I thought as NFTs slowly going to t-shirts, mugs and other merchandise thought this can also be a point of interest for monetization...or some version of collectible cards.

I was aware of FB going to change to Meta (not literal name of course..their strategy) now this name makes and more relatable for other purposes.

This name sold on Oct 28, later same day FB announced. Though I doubt any higher price can be achieved for this.

Thank you to EVERYONE who shared their sales and experience. Always gives some positive vibes🙏

No further details...and please no DM either.

Regards,
Ravi.

Afternic BIN, hold time 11 months.

Note: This price is actually not even decided by me. I'm beginning to use full automation in most of my domain prices. This is the reason why my sales have started to grow lately. The tool simply saw expiry was approaching soon-ish and decided to discount at this level. All my recent sales (growing) are now decided by my software.

I had to do something to forever give up on the huge amount of repricing periodically on 25 k names.

No further questions please. Thanks.

Another one, this time on Sedo (recently started using Sedo again). Edit: Sedo BIN, hold time 5 months

This is a bit underpriced due to a software error, was tuning my newly built auto-pricer and it went in like that, and sold in a couple hours. Nevertheless I'm happy with it, it pays for a lot of other good names.

Globalpettransport in king

Acquired: drop reg or $10 on NP (can't remember)
Sales Venue: Afternic
Sales Price: $100

I created a master file excel list and as I have progressed with the data I am taking @twiki's insight into lowering prices on names that are dropping soon (I lowered the price from $288 to $100 as this name expired on Nov 15th), I did this not even 20 minutes ago and it sold within 5 minutes of dropping the price, I am cleaning up old names, letting a lot of garbage roll off and will try and clear about 20 names at the $100 level that expire in the next month or so. These are .us, .co, .com, and were hand regs when I first started and 90% are garbage names. Will post anymore sales as they come in from this experiment.

No Further Details.

I don't report sales that often but this one is something I thought is worth sharing.

F/a/r/o/e//////I/s/l/a/n/d/s/.org
Sold for $500 via DAN

Bought it for $5 + one renewal in April. I was planning to put up a mini niche site on it, but of course as it always is the case with side projects like this, time was just not there to do it. I was to let this one drop next renewal but set up a DAN make offer lander just because why not. Wasn't expecting a sale or anything, it's basically just a ritual for any of my unused names.

Then an offer came out of the blue for $500 which I promptly accepted as I didn't want to loose a sale for a name I would drop anyway. The buyer paid without issues. Moral of the story: Never underestimate the potential of any name as a buyer might just pop in randomly. Of course the probability of a sale like this is extremely low within a short timeframe like this (22 taken extensions only for this two-word geo .org which isn't exactly what you would call high). But yeah, made my day when it happened.
