Wonderful!! Wishing you best and thanks for guideline :)

I just launched a few weeks ago, so only made a few sales so far but so far so good, hope we don't get a lot of chargebacks in the future.
We do log user ip addresses to check user locations against billing addresses for potential fraudulent charges.
If a charge seems to be fraudulent, we do take additional verification steps (i.e. dynamic verification code on the bank statement descriptor to verify ownership of the credit card used).
Hope this helps!

Off topic I know, not trying to derail// but everyone here should be aware that charge-backs can be made months and months after a purchase has been made. Congrats to brandsly for sure but don't run out and put a shopping cart on your site, not a good idea. I've been in the transaction processing business for the past 14 years and have had many disputes that go back almost a year so beware with this process of selling.

End of derail// show those sales! :)

I understand and thanks for the advice!

I am aware that chargebacks take months. My other company, which have been running for years, have had chargeback issues as well, but we are able to control it at a relatively very very low rate after implementing payment verification. Also, as long as you have the right records on file for the transactions and billing addresses match, you can win the disputes. There's also a limited amount of time that users can dispute charges, depending on your merchant I guess.
We do have a minimum amount that we can take credit cards for, larger amounts will be processed through external merchant/escrow service.
Chargeback is the painful part of doing almost any business, all we can do is plan accordingly and do our best to avoid them.

Still off topic, but I have said this countless times - I only use Escrow/com for everything mainly because of this reason and also because of issues I have had with PayPal.

As I have said before, I do not mind paying the escrow fees, even on small transactions if I have the piece of mind in knowing the funds for a sold domain are safe.

If buyer pays with credit card, escrow fees can be very high.

I am with Brandsly here. In the long run, her savings from the fees of around 3-5% will beat occasional charge-backs. If she does $100K turnover in a year (I am sure, she will do much more annually soon), she'll save $3K-5K a year.

I see your point and it makes sense. However, the profit margin on most domains is usually very high, and personally I do not mind at all paying the extra cost of escrow fees in exchange for a safely completed transaction that will not come back to haunt me a year later.
