In this case i was contacted via sedo. (actually this sale was a little complicated, since i sold the name on ebay, and the same day i received offers via Sedo, so i had to share some of the profit with the ebay buyer and to convince him to resell the domain).

For these type of names, you can't contact endusers, because you don't know who could be interested. With keyword domains its different, since you can find the endusers in google,etc. you can proactively market your name.

Interesting Gifted domain. I wouldnt go near there since I am still a newbie at this. I havent had luck this week since my last flip. I was trying my luck with an exact match .co.uk in the medical software niche... any one ever sold a .co.uk before to an enduser apart from frederer? How long did it take you?

Well, I have just contacted the president of a company who has the .com and I just hope it clicks. Yeah, I traced him up to facebook...

About mystrata.com, Australian company of the same name know wanted to buy it. However, this was with someone in Canada and the person asked for $ 100k.

When I met the company director & told him that I was into domains, he challenged me to get the domain, which I did after some convincing with the seller & all of us ended up making some money

Amjaad.com was sold to an Omanicompany of the same name.

What do you use to send out emails? a free account like gmail or the one provided by godaddy?
I have since switched to godaddy and for each domain name I register, I get a free email like [email protected].

should I be sending out emails using this or my gmail accout?

My first flip was with gmail account but I do not know if that is affecting me now.
