This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Congrats Rich. You're 1200 bucks richer! Sedo doesn't seem to be a bad place at all for selling domains. How long was it there before it sold?

Members,

Please once again stick to "Reported Domain Sales" ...we have many other threads for end user questions, newbie questions, etc. Try to keep the chat that's not reporting domain sales to a min please.

Thanks

@Blake,

I think you should only delete posts which are not specifically pertinent to the sales reported. As an example... if someone says he's going to register a DN blah blah....that should not be posted here, but questions asked about how a sale was achieved is absolutely essential and they cannot be asked on other threads as they would be meaningless.

I agree; might be interesting, and free things up a little, to change this thread's title to:

'Report and Explain Completed Domain Name Sales Here'

So people can explain a little about each sale right in thread, rather than in a disjointed way by reporting a sale here and then having to talk about that sale in a thread somewhere else. 'Discuss' can be substituted for 'Explain' of course, but I think explain is more accurate and keeps the thread on track about explaining each particular sale, rather than discussing sales and truly getting sidetracked into general sales discussions.

Just my 1.5 cents :)

Why not asking them via PM?

Because nobody likes to be spammed by tons of members asking them multiple questions. It's easier to post and let everyone read.

Or you just simply create a new thread such as "Sales Reports (with Discussion and Questions)"... B-)

Okay, I'll try to be clear with some unclear info:

Posting another unusual domain sale, but I can't actually post the name so I'll hint to it.

The domain is 'iHeart + keyword' .com.
Like those t-shirts you see with I (picture of heart) NY, i (Heart) Dogs, I (Heart) Girls, etc etc. So iHeart is taken with pretty much every major keyword, in dot.com. I grabbed two of them as they expired a couple years back, the other one was iHeart3D.com. I unfortunately let that one expire, in a weak moment, and it was snapped up by someone else. I kept my stronger keyword one though. It had had 3 offers in the last couple years, for 50, 200, and 300 clams respectively, from different people, via email not Sedo.

Last week thru Sedo I had an offer for $500 for this iHeartKeyword I still had. Countered at 1250, then they countered at $1K and I accepted. Deal is finished and I've been paid.

Loved the name and didn't want to sell it, but $1K was a very good end user price so I let it go. I've had this name appraised here a couple years ago so you could always look thru my back threads and find it if you have nothing better to do.

The Sedo buyer chose to select not-viewable to the public for this sale, so I'll honor that, kind of I think, and not post the whole name in thread, and you won't see it in Sedo's list of sold domains.

There, was that confusing or did you get it? :P

Thought I'd kind of report the sale, since I couldn't find any sales history of any other iHeart + Keyword domain at Namebio or any other source, so wondering if I have the highest sale amt of an iHeart domain. Let me know if you've heard of any other such sales :)
