Hi all -- I'm new here. This is my second post, the first being my most recent sale which I posted above ^^. I'm excited to get more involved here at NamePros.

I'm not going to go back and share a bunch of old sales, but figured I'd share my FIRST domain sale from 8 years ago. I was very excited at the time and didn't have anyone to share it with, so here we go...

Details: I don't recall why I even bought this specific domain...it was one of 4-5 domains that I purchased when I first learned that domain names had a secondary market. I bought it, didn't know anything about listing it for sale, and forgot about it. Got a cold email from the buyer offering $2,000, which I accepted immediately. He held my hand through the Escrow and transfer process and we got it done!

Fun Fact: I started listening to the Domain Sherpa podcast a few years later as I started actually learning about domain investing. The Sherpas used to do listener portfolio reviews, and they reviewed the portfolio that included this domain name. Apparently I can't include a link, so you can search "domain sherpa 20170807" if you want to check it out.

Looks like the guy who bought it from me was putting together a portfolio of autonomous vehicle domains.

Anyway, looking forward to interacting with fellow domainers!

I bought this name in 2021 here on NP for $140 plus transfer fee. The domain had been regged through 2029 and my transfer made the expiration go to 2030.

Just under 4 years sitting on the shelf, it sold! Funds received.

Sold m/a/n/i/f/e/s/t d/o/t o/r/g for 35K at atom. steep commission of 25%. had bought it about 2 and half years before where it was part of 3-4 names average should be little less than 1K. i had almost sold this name for 15K in 2023 where buyer had some social media plan and on his request i had even changed nameserver for him for his website before he makes the payment but later he kept delaying due to some emergency and eventually he requested me to allow him to cancel the deal which i did. i'm not sure whether its the same buyer anyway here the first offer was 20K via atom later on agreed for 35k.
