This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

So, I had a lead come in back in July for a domain, C/l/a/r/e/n/c/e/p/l/a/c/e(.com) that I was unable to close the deal with or even got a response back after they initally reached out.

Luckily, I keep all old leads on Uni just for follow up, because it doesn't hurt to give it a try for a broker to follow up with.

And last Monday, it closed at $1,300. Unexpected, but a nice surprise.

TLDR:
Bought domain for $10 at a Dropcatch expiry auction back in January.
Had a lead that I couldn't get a hold of in June.
Uni picked up the old lead.
Closed at $1300, received $1054.

W h a t s Y o u r S t o r y . n e t

- sold today for $909, Afternic BIN
- registered for $11.17 with GoDaddy
- hold time 1 month

{Even though this domain was registered less than 60 days ago, and GoDaddy representative said there is ICANN lock, Afternic managed to quickly finalize transaction, requesting me to push domain into their GoDaddy account}
How do you find buyer?

You are so lucky...
Congratulations!!!

This was a nice surprise as I would have let the domain expire in November. Based on @twiki 's post I changed the prices of my expiring .co domains on Afternic (thank you Twiki! :) ) $199 is truly the definite winner :) The name was a handreg for $2.99, and holding time was 11.5 months.

Thanks @alcy ... I use DAN landers, but also list all names at Afternic with a BIN price. Sometimes, Afternic brokers reach out to me directly, if they have a buyer interested at a number close to the asking price. I don't use Afternic landers at the moment - so the buyers must come via Afternic, GoDaddy or other third-party brokers.
