    Hi.

I've just found the following domain; ser.art which is appearing as a premium domain and available on the "aftermarket" on Namecheap.com, for £5,004.35. It's also appearing as "available" on Whois.com for $6.88, but then appears as "taken" when opting to register it.

I then try and do an ICANN lookup, as well as on several other "Whois" sites, and it's as if that domain doesn't even exist.

Could someone please explain why this is?

    Many thanks.

It's a registry reserved name, so different sites display differently. But it's not registered by a registant but held by the registry.
