Hi there ,
I placed the highest bid for a .io domain and they emailed me that i'm the highest bidder

when the auction ended , I've never heared from them
I mean they didn't email me for wining the domain

and the domain now in the "didn't win" section in my godaddy auction account :(

what just did happen ????

Domain probably had a reserve price and your high bid wasn't higher than the reserve price. Hence you did not win the auction

well , how to know if it has a reserve :\ and how to know if my bid was higher than the reserve ??
didn't notice anything written about that

It's not very easy to see this in GoDaddy. In your bidding list, if you see "reserve not met" in under the bid entry text box, then it indicates that the reserve hasn't been met yet. The actual reserve price is not displayed anywhere.

i didn't see "reserve not met" for that domain :\
so , can i know if the domain has a reserve or not ? i mean i don't wanna know the exact reserve ,
i just wanna know if there is a reserve or not and if I'm above the reserve or not

You can while the auction is going on. But not after (afaik). This shows up in the Bidding List page (which is different from the watched listings page)
