discuss I am the second highest bid from Dynadot.com's auction

Hi,

I am the second highest bid of one expired domain from Dynadot backorder auction, the winning bidder did not submit their payment for the auction but now Dynadot doesn't remove the bids from the winning bidder (Godaddy does it) and asking me to pay the amount of my highest bid, is it unfair right? I am able to cancel this order if they don't do that.

Agree.

Even if you thought the domain was worth more, you're not paying a true market demand / valuation.

It is unfair if they do not remove the bids from the "winner" that didn't pay. If there was only 2 bidders, then you should only have to pay your first bid amount. If there were 3 or more bidders then you should pay your highest bid above the highest bid of a "valid" bidder.
