Parking purposes! any rule or procedure?

I was thinking to search for deleted domains to register some with parking purposes. What's the characteristics I have to focus at the time I select the domains. Backlinks? Google indexed pages?Alexa rank? Page Rank?

Thanks.. I'll follow your indications. I'm bored of searching domains with a lot ok backlinks, then I investigate a little an all those backlinks are listed in link pool.

I'll check archive.org then to have a look. Otherwise is it valuable links marked as "nofollow"? Or is the same as not having links?

There is no rule. I have a domain doing 100 USD + per month with a single backlink. I have type in domains, when you check alexa, they are like 0 and they earn a dollar per day on average. Its like pure gambling, But anyway you can lift the chances of success if you know what to look after.

Don't frustrating, I think find good domain has some rule, not like gambling.
I'm new man on parking domains.
But I can share some my failed experience.
seems you are newbie also, you should practice and attempt failed,
Then you will have a feeling about how to find gold domain.
And you can sniffing out which of domains are garbage and which of domains are gold.

There are Rules in parking also.
Good Backlinks ( good means the website on which that link is should be good and relevant to ur domain)
Indexed Pages ( it may take 1 month to 1 year for your index pages to disappear ) so until then you keep getting traffic
Average to high paying ..Good keyword ( it will make sure that you get clicks with high CPC. - 100 visitors a days with 10 clicks of .05 $ cpc or 20 visitors with 2 clicks of 0.50 $ CPC you have to decide what kind of name you want.. )

Its one of the yellow pages on internet people are looking often. If the link is listed there, you get tons of traffic out of this link and 2-5 usd per day, it happen on each and every domain I have. So I am searching for the link from this site, since there is a 100% corelation between high profit and linking from this site. This is all I can tell.

Diverse, it depends where the traffic is coming from. But usually I rotate them to see how they perform. Lately, I have parked the domains to InternetTraffic.com There was a domain by other provider, doing like 0.02 USD per year. On Internettraffic it made 7 USD in just 2 days. IT platform works well on Forum, Blogs and Board domains. Like Ive already said, their page looks like a Portal, specific domains would do their best on IT. Ive discovered this lately. No need to move around your TOP earners if you are satisfied. BUT try to move all doing 10 USD- per year and you will see the significant improvement.

However I read this comment and I'd like to ask a question.

I'm developing a website. It is currently at very early stages. So I have parked Sedo ads on my domain for the time being. My question is, is it worth having parked ads or should I take them off?

As I do not want the value to go down nor any of the rankings.

What are you talking about? When its not developed it doesnt have GPR I guess. So try different parking providers or what. And I see 1 USD per 3 days quite ok. On the other hand I hardly believe in that statement. Even high CPC keywords perform very bad at Sedo.

And why the hack you are developing site with absolutely no knowledge?
