Parking and Re-Directing TRAFFIC

I want to register a domain and Re-DIRECT it to another WEBSITE....
My question is:-

1) Will my new Domain gain a good ranking in GOOGLE, for just re-directly it to another website ?

(if that another website is good enough for ranking in google) I mean !

Not sure about this but I think that a 301 redirect transfers page rank from the domain being redirected (your new domain) to your website.
Might want to run "301 redirect" through your favorite search engine.

301 redirs PR but it's called fake Pagerank. Anyway, google position won't be better, it's based on so-called trustrank.
