I am in urgent need of a Parked account but they have already rejected me twice. But I recently acquired a few high traffic names so i hope they will accept me this time.

studentsloan.in here in australia is 1 page..Most of the traffic however is Indian and I am unsure if it is a 1 page lander in India as well...

yes that's true, only countries covered by yahoo will get 1 click, any other country will get 2 click what ever the domain name is

Since moving to Parked my domains started out producing good $. About a week later i havent recieved any clicks or views on the domain that was performing the best. I do not know if this due to SEO problems but my DN used to #1 on google now I cant even find it. How do i get it back up there? I would really like to see some of those clicks again.

I moved all but one of my domains back to parked from bodis. (I will keep one there for a while to see if revenue will improve)

One of my domains that was never a good revenue producer showed $1.36 for yesterday and then it got revised to $3.59!!!

Now if I could get results like this every day!

Is it a typo domain? And by any chance was it on SEDO when it was #1 in google. I have noticed that quite a few of my domains, the typo ones especially, were #1 in google when they were on SEDO. After I moved them to parked, they jumped to like #952 or something. But after a week or two , most of them got back to the first or second page. Some never recovered. You gotta remember.... Parked.com has a yahoo feed. Google probably takes this into consideration when ranking your parked.com pages. But overall, Parked is still the best :imho:

Parked lets you set the title and the meta description. In theory, that should give you a pretty good advantage as far as rankings. But you have to set them wisely - not too many words, nor too few. You might have to play with it a while to get the right mix.

Well what I did was copy and paste the meta tags and description verbatim from 1plus to parked. Hopefully they will recover, otherwise im SOL. thanks for the help.

A few months ago everybody said that parked.com performing well only for traffic from us.

How the situation looks now?

I wonder if yahoo is present in Germany and Netherlands, maybe it's worth to check how it's performing for .de and .nl?

I would be grateful for any comments.

This is normally the result of you adding a name that someone already had Parked on the Parked system and the previous person not removing it from their account. Their is a domain conflict report feature on the help section. They verify the whois and change everything (including taking it off of the other person's account). It is almost never a problem.

Late last weekend I moved 600+ domains to Parked, today nearly every .net has been hit at least once, this wasn't in the space of a few minutes that you would expect from some robot crawling through the system but steadily through the day. Any ideas why this might be?

Don't know. But I had the exact same thing happen to me. 90% of my .net's got hits today. But mine all happened within a 1 or 2 hour period.

Parked doesn't count bot traffic...Maybe just a coincidence...I have seen visitors from yahoo on a domain that was freshly registered and parked within 1 day...

Let me see how many I can answer at one time.

I talked to TheBaldOne about the .net domains that are getting a bunch of hits, it seems that our friends at Amazon are running some type of bot service out of South Africa, but I just blocked all of them.

We have looked into adding a .mobi compliant template, and it was actually pretty close about 3 weeks ago, but then something else came up and now it's down the list again. I think if there were more traffic on .mobi domains this would have been finished a long time ago.

Domain Conflicts are something that we all must deal with until my buddy Terrence gets out new conflict manager completed. Today what happens is if I own phpscripts.com and then sell it to netmeg, I do not remove the domain from my account and netmeg adds the domain to their account, what happens is we now have a conflict, two people claim they own the same domain. We attempt to verify who owns the domain and put the domain in the correct account. So if you ever get an conflict message I recommend that you harass your account manager as often as possible to get the domain in your account as fast as possible. Unless I'm your account manager. We are hoping to have a majority of this automated in the next week or so.

Our non-US markets are doing very well, actually much better than I have expected in many cases.

Also Parked.com homepage shows that we support IDN...I think that needs a fixing...

That's interesting on mobi format factor. I own a lot of mobi names as a long term investment and would be great for it be mobi formated. Mobi I believe is going take off. Its just early and phase one or first inning.

I had gotten some info back from my rep and that was nice and exchanged couple emails back and forth. Seems my quality score is good so I can stop the worrying on this for time being. A lot out of my control, I can't control a person to buy something on one of my sites or clicks or what's good traffic or bad traffic. That's a huge worry for me. Things you can't control in this business. Sure I have all the features that parked has and hours spent formatting things, colors and customization which I love but I can't control things out of my hands. That worries me.

Names that don't have traffic, its ok to keep under your account. It won't impact the score or your account I been told. So I will just keep my names at parked and that gives me time to fix things, tags, keywords and etc. Always revisions to do and trial and errors I am concluding.

Had my first day at parked today! Mainly off one name today and can't wait to see final numbers. 9 clicks on one name and a few other names. Excited on this and this name has done most of my revenue this week alone. Now I need to have 20 names like this and then 50 names and more trial and error stuff with keywords

A comment above, I thought you put as many tag words in there as possible. Not to long, not to short?? Donny can you confirm on this for me please. If I have 12 key words in as tags, that's not good?

I read one members comment from bodis to here and keep one name at bodis. You will be dropped I am sure. What a joke bodis was. Surly made me look bad trying support him. I am expecting more names will flood parked from bodis. Hope the honest owners, not the Scammers that did a job at bodis and hurt all of us over there. Glad I only had 30 names with them. Parked has a lot of my names.
