About
As an archaeologist I am used to digging in the hope of finding something. The processes involved in archaeology I think are very similar to those in domaining. A lot of work goes on in the excavation of finding a domain name, and often all the work proves fruitless - but the next search or dig might bring some treasured artefact or domain to light.
Often in an archaeological no real 'treasures' are found but lots of other artifacts (finds) are made, a small coin here, a piece of clothing there, a bone or a tool even. These are not worthless but to most people are not treasures, but they are worthy in their own right. The same happens with domains, rarely are real 'treasures' found, mostly lesser valued domains are unearthed by all the hard work, domains worth $xxx - $x,xxx - $xx,xxx. Of course I like every other domainer dreams of unearthing the $x,xxx, xxx domain, but finding those lesser valuable domains still brings a tingle to the spine, and that is a tingle I enjoy experiencing.Interact
