Hello everyone,

I never received a reply on my outbound mail (only once- the answer is No),

I really love to have XXX sales now and then to keep renewing my other names.

The problem is I believe I am writing bad email or I can't convey properly why they should acquire the name.

I am curious, when you send emails what is your subject line (I write XXX.com is available to purchase)?

Do you use email signature?

Or anything else you would like to share?

And yes, I write if you don't want another mail from me , please reply No.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Let say for instance your domain name is avijitroy.com. your subject line could be any of the following:

1 Inquiry from avijitroy.com
2 selling avijitroy.com
3 avijitroy.com is available for acquisition
4 Avijit Roy
I think any of these should be ok for subject line. I stand to be corrected

Same with me, not a single reply on outbound mail. Even I am wondering what's wrong

I usually put it in this format e.g Avijitroy.com For sale

Can you please share your response rate? And what is your sales ratio?

Just use your domain name as subject line... that's the best and safest solution...

  • Are you registering quality domain names?

I am curious, when you send emails what is your subject line (I write XXX.com is available to purchase)?
  • YourDomain.com
Do you use email signature?
  • Your full name
  • Your job title (I use "Marketing Manager")
  • Your e-mail address - [email protected] (not Hotmail or Gmail)
  • Your phone number with country code
  • Your website address (yourdomain.com)
  • Your Linkedin (if you have one)
  • Your SkypeID (if you have one)
Or anything else you would like to share?
  • Keep it short (2 short sentences)
  • Use their first name
  • Send to arrive on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10am
  • I'm not an expert! :(
And yes, I write if you don't want another mail from me , please reply No.
  • You don't need to include this, just say if interested make a bid

Response ratio and sales ratio are very delusional number as it depends upon more than one factor...

Further it's getting difficult to sell normal domains day by day.

Lastly outbound is no magic trick , it's just a way to inform the end user that particular domain is available who may not be otherwise tech savvy to go in auction platforms and check the same on daily basis...

What do you mean by "normal domains" please?

It's true many people are not that tech savvy, which is why always try to e-mail the CEO and copy in an IT manager or a marketing manager. If you can plant the idea and get a conversation going it can work to get a sale

I am annoyed when i get other domainers spam saying it's an inquiry from my domain because it makes me think someone is inquiring about buying my domain.
