On a VERY SERIOUS note...

Me and my gilfriend have to leave Memphis..... we have nowhere to go......literally nowhere. Due to circumstances beyond our control we now have nowhere to live. In a way this could be good for me as I have for years wanted to leave memphis, but now I just do not know where to go...... or where to stay, nor where to get a job when i get there..... Hear is my plea..... would any of you fellow NP's be willing to shack up a couple for long enough for them to get on their feet.... we are both in our mid 30's.... had our share of bad luck, but trying to make the best of life.... I have lived in Florida before and would love to go back, so if anyone there could help it would be great...,. I know this is a long shot... but I would rather not be homeless. This is VERY SERIOUS... I need to leave this weekend. I know there are some kind hearts out there....just wish i could find one right now.

Not you or your gf have even 1 family member/friend that will take you in for awhile until you get on your feet?

Also, can you sell a few domains to cover a month or so in some cheap hotel? Sell some other stuff.

I have a friend that was just starting over and found one of those rent a room deals in some big house. Pays like $550 a month for room/utilities. Try one of those roommate search sites.

One of my friends suggested you can visit the "drop inn" centers in Florida for seeking help.

I second " http://www.CouchSurfing.com it's the cheapest way of getting off the road for a night or two. Offer cleaning service to those who host, and get yourself known for leaving the place cleaner than you found it.

Then go to http://www.oDesk.com and pick up a few jobs, build a portfolio, then start your own online service.

It won't be easy, but if you can find something on odesk for the both of you, then it won't be long before you begin writing your own story.
