discuss ngTLD Namebio Sales Past Month

I realize that Namebio stats are not complete (no sales under $100, only certain venues report to them, some sales kept private), but I thought it would be interesting to look at how many Namebio reported ngTLD sales took place during the past month (Feb 23- Mar 22, 2018). It is easy to do this at Namebio using the last month and all new gTLD settings.

• 31 Namebio recorded ngTLD domain name sales in this period
  
• Median sales price of $1210 and mean sales price of $4089.
• 18 of the sales were for $1000 or more.
• There were sales in 19 different extensions.
• Of the 31 sales, 8 were registry sales, others marketplace, with Sedo most popular with 14 sales.
• The highest value sale was blockchain.ventures for $42,000, with Berlin.club taking second place with a $11,700 sale.
• If we look at 2018 in total so far, there were 139 Namebio reported sales with a mean sales price of $9238 (heavily influenced by the $500,000 Home.loans and $300,000 The.club sales).

I have now finished the new report re Namebio reported ngTLD domain names for period ending April 22. Here are the highlights, and you can find the complete report at this link.

During the monthly period ending April 22, 2018 there were

• 27 recorded ngTLD domain name sales;
• A median sales price of $2400;
• A mean sales price of $4980;
• In terms of major sales, 20 were for $1000 or more including 3 for $10,000 or more;
• Highest sales were live.casino for $34,483 and chat.chat for $20,000;
• There were sales in 18 different TLD extensions during this period;
• Global Registry, Sedo and Uniregistry had the most reported sales.

Note that Namebio consider vacation.rentals to be a 2017 sale, even though reported during this period, so it does not influence these stats (it would have made the average sales price MUCH higher if included!)
