A former friend of mine Neil, aka Veolus and the former owner of Zeeblo.com, I hence the term FORMER on both cases has been scamming people out of money at Zeeblo's expense.

I'm the new GM of Zeeblo running things under the new owner's consent

Anyway, I got IM'd by a reseller on Zeeblo I had no knowledge of creating, nor did my staff.

After awhile he told me that he paid Neil $5 a month for a 1gb/10gb reseller. Neil had apparently kept root access and has been running this scam briefly.

I suggest you stay away from this guy at ALL COSTS, he will screw ya over in more ways then one.

None the less, if anyone wants to see a conversation with this reseller, let me know.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I found that out a long time ago when he and TheBush used to run a hosting company that scammed me for money with their mango host :/

Thanks for an update

hmm..

first of all, Peter has lied to you. He bought the reseller yesterday for 75 NP$, not $5 and it hasn't even been 1 month yet. I believe that Peter's the only one I ever sold the reseller to and I'm happy to refund the NP$...

I was given root access before I left Zeeblo, and I only ever created about two accounts, one for myself and one for Peter. You're trying to make it look like I sold hundreds of resellers and kept all the money when obviously, I didn't.. I just created an account for myself, which is well deserved after all my efforts in advertising and promoting Forums.net.in and NOT getting paid :)

Well, all I can say is I didn't scam anyone from selling your space.. Peter came up to me in need of hosting, I offered him hosting for 75 NP$, if you don't want to host him, I'll give his 75 NP$ back.. no questions asked..

I don't see how I scammed anyone with the root access when I barely even created any accounts.. Nor did I do anything malicious like terminate any accounts, etc.

Well, think what you want Travis, all I can say is I didn't scam anyone with the root access, and I'm offering to give Peter's 75 NP$ back...

UPDATE:

Hey, wait! according to my PM's I have ONLY received 10 NP$ from Peter and not the full 75 NP$.. Didn't really check, but now I have.. so he has only paid 10 NP$.

Where did he get $5 from? I doubt Peter thinks 1 NP$ = $1... but..

Anyways, I'm still willing to refund the NP$..

Either way Neil, the space wasn't yours to sell. And frankly selling a 1gb/15gb RESELLER that wasn't yours is VERY FOOLISH of you.

Well, since I never got paid for the advertising and promotion of Forums.net.in, I think I'd just make some of the money myself through selling some space. Vivek wanted Forums.net.in to be as good as DNF, well that's exactly what I was aiming for, I spent countless hours going around advertising the posting competition to find Vivek completely closing Forums.net.in and not giving two hoots about the posting competition which HE started. It was then I who was called a scammer for Vivek's decision. I had no intent in promoting the posting contest to get people posting and then shut the whole forum down, that was all Vivek's decision.

Trust me, 10 NP$ is hardly enough to pay off for all the advertising and promotion I did, and if Forums.net.in was up right now, it would probably be at 100-200 members..

I believe I have every right to make that money back with the use of your space and without your consent, I don't see why you're trying to make a big deal out of 10 NP$ and 1GB space/15GB bandwidth.. Consider yourselves lucky, I'm not the type of person who is lame enough to terminate all the accounts because I'm bored.

To top it off, I'm even offering to refund the NP$ (10NP$), which to me isn't that big of a deal but if it makes you guys happy, well I'll do it :p

Creating an account, and using root access without the owners knowledge or consent is wrong. Then, selling some of that extra space to another party makes it go from wrong to outrageous. Regardless of how much profit, or how many accounts you created. That's not the point.

What world do you live in, where this type stuff is acceptable?

Seriously Neil...

If a similar situation took place in the adult world (the REAL world) you would be facing legal charges right now. And this is not the first time your name has been at the center of a situation like this. I don't actually know how old you are, and I mean no offense by this, but you need to do two things....1.) Grow up. 2.) Learn some ethics.

Thanks For the story Livengood, I think the majority of us know to avoid him anyway since the MangoWebs explosion. Best of luck at resolving it.

Well I won't be buying from Veolus! Ever!
MangoWebs has ruined the NP$ hosting biz and has taken the trust out of the NP$ based hosts and now this, becoming a bit of a habit of your's Neil.

Just curious, what makes you think you have the right to use someone else's space without consent?

So basically in your thinking,
I could sell a car to someone, make an extra key before I sell it.
Then whenever I wanted to without their permission, I could just go an use the vehicle I no longer own.
And this is OK?

I'm sad!

Honestly, at this time, I just want to BAN Veolus ... and lock-down the entire IP range to prevent him - or anyone "associated" with him - from ever returning here to our professional site and friendly, trusting community, IMHO. :tri:

However ... he is providing to us a perfect example of how one should not behave, conduct business! I am still debating whether there is any incremental lesson(s) to be learned here ... or have we now exhausted all rehabilitative hope? :|

Absent a compelling argument(s) over the next several hours, including from Veolus himself, I will be permanently deactivating his membership from the Namepros site. I greatly appreciate the candor and constuctive nature of the remarks thus far, throughout the day today.

Deeply apologize for the inconvenience, friends! :guilty:

Update:

The owner of Zeeblo, who is actually a very serious individual, is taking legal action against Neil. This isn't just a threat in my opinion, as the new owner has the money to get this done without blinking an eye. (He owns Bored.com and makes a killing from it, as well as other internet ventures) hopefully Neil has a good attorney. :)

The new owner's response:

"forums.net.in got hacked and it wasnt worth getting it running again, and second I actually paid him 200-400np$ because he kept requesting it in place of forums.net.in work he wanted a domain name."

and

Furthermore, Neil came on pretending to be his lawyer, crying and moaning over wether or not he should be let back into Zeeblo, then minutes later he returns crying begging the new owner not to take legal action against him, saying he's only fourteen, his father has no job, yadda yadda yadda.
