What on earth is this about?

Every single one of my domains there is blocked with that message "This domain has been blocked". Views is 0. Why?

I've had 0 emails, 0 notifications and I can still access my account, so what's going on at ND?!?! Don't tell me this is another company that finds an excuse not to payout when you're near payout time...!

I only have one domain there that's regularly getting hits and clicks, and the numbers (views/clicks) are exactly the same as previous months. No fake traffic, just 100% natural click throughs, nothing inflated - I don't have the time or energy to do that.

Not to mention Septembers totals have all been reset to zero. What's going on ND?

EDIT: Now Septembers totals have returned (it's a glitch in the system) but the domains are still blocked for no reason.

LMAO that's hilarious! I'd love to hear from them how I've been "cheating"!

Like someone with my reputation is gonna piss it all away over a measly few dollars!

I've had domains with them all year, right now I have ~25. Deleted, there's 30 something. There's only one making anything and that made ~$2 last month. Total so far THIS YEAR at ND, $15.98. So yeah, as I said, I'm really gonna screw my reputation and waste my time adding more domains, all for $2 a month!

It's not even like I have the time to go screwing with fake traffic or other bs schemes. Between managing my illness, my freelance writing, site developing AND posting on the board, there's literally not enough hours in the day already!

You know, I wouldn't even be bothered so much if they at least had the decency and customer relations to tell me that my account/domains were somehow suspended on the 27th (4 days ago!!!).

As of right now, no emails, no notifications, no nothing and I can still access the account as if nothing was wrong. Apparently they think I'm psychic.

Email sent to "Customer Support" this morning, 10+ hours ago, still no response. :|

Contact Ed. [email protected]. He's usually very good at getting back to people ASAP. FWIW, I usually do that before posting on a board.

Hope it gets worked out for ya.

I had a buddy this happened to. ND's response was "sorry - nothing we can do about it. You're banned for life."

Frankly, I don't see the point of anyone clicking on their own names for chump change either. Do you have any backlinks to your parked domains that might be generating traffic against their TOS?

I have no idea, who does have a domain 100% without backlinks anyway? I'd be interested to know if that little T&C was in the T's&C's back in January...

I find it very interesting that the only earning domain has been parked there since May 1st 2006 and they wait until now to do something about it.

That's VERY convenient, 6 months and $14.46 later. One hell of a coincidence... I don't think!

the total amount you mention does not seem a lot to argue about frauds are normally for much higher amounts...so you appear ro have a genuine beef...
...re fraudulent clicks it doesn't have to be you doing the clicking, if the pattern of clicks looks to the parking service as if it is coming from any dodgy source then they will act to close down the domain parking...sometimes it is possible to reg a name with a dodgy past history...check out the backlinks to see if there is anything to find....

your reputation on namepros has nothing to do with your dealings with NameDrive. Email them direct. Ask them whats up, resolve, move on.

They came back to me and said

1. domain xxx.com has more hits than pageviews than hits (my clickthrough are 30%-50%) so I dont know what they are talking about . .. besides these are myspace related domains so ofcourse traffic are high and clickthroughs are high too . ..

2. domain yyy.com has low OVT but made too much money thus far. All of $3.00+ in the last month BTW! . . . its a freaking TYPO domain so ofcourse it has lower searches in OVT . . .

anyways, I think Namedrive is hurting for revenue thats why they are doing this. Its certainly not because Google thinks I'm cheating (Google could care less about OVT) . . . its Namedrive going witch hunting since they need to make some money. . . .

Google would have kept the click revenues thus niether NameDrive or I would make money. But if Name Drive goes and tries to find their own "click fraud" they could keep it all for themselves.

Plus these guys obviously going after people with small portfolios so they dont piss off their bigger customers. The timing is just too perfect . . a couple days before payout AFTER I parked there for over 3 month . . .

Stay away from these guys, they are crooks . ..

NameDrive is the best parking program out there at this moment with the highest revenue for me anyways...(depending on the type of portfolio your revenue may be higher elsewhere)

I have had some domains blocked in the past, but they were only because of google/yahoo typos, and complaints from tm holders.

I'm sure there is a legit reason why your domains are getting blocked. NameDrive would not go and look at the smaller portfolios and just handpick people to block so they can get more money... THAT IS NOT TRUE!

The domains wouldn't be blocked for no reason... perhaps clickfraud, bot traffic, maybe they received a complaint from another company etc. .. contact them and find out! If there is any mistake they will fix the problem..

Don't go bashing until you have the facts!

I talked to them, they didnt fix the problem, I got it straight from their representatives, so I have the FACTS from them . . they blocked my entire portfolio not just a couple of domains . . .

Rememebr they are not stupid. . . they are targeting only recent customers.. . these are not legit reasons . . . they are not tracking IP address or conversion (anything that Google does) . . . this is based on couple of "interesting" behaviors they saw and they did something arbitrary . . . if Google is the one who is saying I'm doing the click fraud, then I'm ok with it . . . atleast they have a model that is 95% of the time correct. . . these guys are just making up reasons to steal money.

They didn't fix the problem? Maybe the problem is your domains... how can they fix that? They are just trying to protect their company, and you don't know if its NameDrive or Google that requested this...

I'm not going to argue with you though, good luck with your portfolio! I didn't intend to start any fires, just trying to reason with you.

First, Urbandata. Now, Namedrive. What next?

24 hours without a reply from "Customer Support", 5 days since domains were blocked without warning or notification.

I understand where you're coming from Premium, I've been in your position sticking up for the "good guy" many many times... including NameDrive, but you've got to admit something is fishy here.

Domains mysteriously cancelled approx 1 month from payout date, main earning domain parked for 6 months with no action, 5 days with no contact at all from NameDrive.

I like NameDrive, I've used them for a long time, I've recommended them many times and stuck up for them when they've done nothing wrong but there's seemingly no reason for this. If it's a problem with the only domain that's earning anything other than 5 cents a month, then why wasn't that dealt with 6 months ago?

No accusations, it's just mighty convenient timing.

It happened to me once. They blocked just one domain though, and it was a tm domain. I think they received a complaint from the company that owns the tm.

Thanks B33R for posting this. This in invaluable had I any idea of using this service
I will stay well away from this one.

If someone blocked me it is one thing. If they didn't bother to notify me that is another. That would tell me they don't want my business anyway and I am not about to spend my time convincing them that they do.

Clearly this is happening to many persons as indicated that a few NP members have all been dealt with in this manner
