Of course i have sent email to [email protected] and phone support will only point me to that email support option, There is some Jd in the fridge and that's how i will send off the day, i have taken screenshots and contacted ename, at least my screenshots show the domain nameservers to my hosting and my hosting screenshot shows the redirect to flippa listing, it is not so much as 'is that all i am gonna do' it's more a case of 'all i currently can do'

The domain was at godaddy which seems to be the one main registrar losing these domains on a regular basis ......of course all names will have to go elsewhere, as to getting the name back i might as well pissing in to wind

Tracing it is the easy part getting it back it the hard part, no links have been clicked in any emails , kinda starting to wonder why they all disappear from gogaddy ?? Ename responding is like saying the tooth fairy exists. Just moved five domains from godaddy ....soon more, i just can't trust them and i have no faith in them to fix this

Make sure that your login to your domain registrar of choice is entirely different from any other passwords you use on any other site. Make sure it has upper case, lowercase, numbers and at least 1 symbol. Even though it can be annoying at times, and I can't stress this enough, DO use the 2 factor authentication through your phone, GoDaddy.com and Name.com both offer 2 factor authentication through your phone, I prefer Name.com's but both work. I'm sure you can find other popular registrars that offer this to. They send a code via text or through an app that is needed in addition to your password to sign in.

I don't think post padding to get to 10,000 posts in this thread is or will be an issue.

The severity of more and more domains being stolen from companies like FMA to you is rapidly increasing.

The more information you can provide, the better some will lend you a helping hand with.

It's also good to see how it ultimately unfolds. Of course, I have full faith that it will be returned, but in what light will GoDaddy take this issue?

It's most likely going to result in a headache as we have holidays ahead.

My theory on why it is taken from GoDaddy so easily is the convenience to instantly transfer out within minutes. In this case, it is definitely inconvenient for you. Hopefully GoDaddy ultimately reviews their transfer policy and has the 5 day wait period to Ename because this is "the last straw" for domain retention, leading to a loss of a lifetime customer.

Good luck, keep us up to date as this is a serious matter and don't fret over post padding in an issue like this.

And when the domain finally got transferred out, you never received any email notice from Godaddy ? I think normally there's about 3 emails per domain transfer out that Godaddy sends.

This is true, but are we to set alerts every time we receive an email from GoDaddy to wake up or get to a computer immediately?

By this time, the domain could already be gone. I believe multitasking, I was able to transfer a domain out in under 5 minutes. Time is of essence.

Okay. i was just trying to sort out whether it is completely possible for someone to steal your domains without triggering emails. I think i've read reports in the past about domains suddenly disappearing from your account without notice.

To clear things up , i attempted to login but could not, tried again and pretty much knew instantly something was up as i have a lot of scammers and schemers contacting me regarding this domain name. I wrote to godaddy on the 4th of december stating there were attempts to gain my account details via fraudulent emails, i stated i wanted it on record that this was happening .... no response. To my knowledge because i am not in the states the two step verification is not an option (perhaps i am wrong) because i never click on links in emails i was confident the password was safe. The thief did not change the nameservers and i have taken screenprints and also screenprints of my hosting which was redirecting the domain to the flippa listing which has also been screenprinted. The thing i dont get is how the system can allow for a change of email address without sending the change to the account owner which allow for confirmation?? If this was inbuilt then it would allow for the owner to show that something is astray.

I am keeping an eye on the whois as with stolen domains the info changes two to three times in as many days, i am hoping weight of numbers demonstrates the ongoing trend

That was what i was wondering about.

Whether Godaddy sent you an email alert when one of your account parameters was altered. If it did not, then their system is FKD up and they should compensate you by working to get your domain back.

Also, maybe it's a good thing about Name.COM that they don't have an option for you to expedite the transfer process. You would have to really wait 5-7 days before the transfer pushes through.
