I have a lot of sites spread around several different hosts, and I'm thinking it might be a wise decision to amalgamate them all together under one host.

I use 1&1, which I am very keen to move away from, as I find their userface frustratingly difficult to navigate and understand.

I want to move the sites to another host with cpanel, and basically looking at clarifying the way they are ordered.

i would imagine there is around one to two days work involved.

I am looking for somebody skilled, methodical, organised and experienced, to assist me in moving the sites together.

If anybody can do this please pm me. :o

Might not hurt to just ask your host; generally speaking, they'll do it for you.

I guess your hosting providers must help you to fix that.

Yes it seems most of the hosts do cpanel to cpanel migration free of cost.

1&1 has their own thing I believe. if you can get your hands on the physical files and the databases, you can actually transfer everything within a few hours - most of which will be waiting for the FTP download and then upload to the new server.

and as others have said, most hosts will do it for free for you, but 1&1 doesn't really use cPanel so transfer for them will be difficult as well and they will probably end up charging you for help with that.

Good luck though :) Not too hard

Taking into account the situation you have fetched up at, I strongly believe that a2hosting.com would be nice decision to deal with. It is flexible, so you shouldn't worry about anything. And the abundance of good feedbacks about this company makes it the most preferable.

cpanel transfer

if they have the same control panel its usualy pretty easy and most hosts will do it for free or a small fee.

I believe that you can relay on your new web host provider help. Just ask about that before sign up and once you have that confirmed that form their side - allow them to move.

thanks everyone, but my host will not help due to many not being hosted on cpanel hosting. I also do not have a great deal of time for this sort of thing, hence my original request...

Maybe you'd be better to change your host.
