Low Ballers on Sedo

Got into a heated discussion with a low baller on Sedo. He said he knows about branding, and has a MBA, and offered me $60 ($10 paid) for a brandable that cost XXXX to acquire.

In my experience there have been a lot of $60 lowballers that have no yellow in their rating.

How do you deal with them?

Counter with $50K.

If they're going to be ridiculous, you can too.

You allow those $60 offers via your settings, so it's something you can stop if you really want to.

Cancel negotiation.

Except you MUST make 1 counter offer.

Say the domain is worth 10K

We are pleased to inform you that a potential buyer has made an offer of 60 USD for your domain!!

Counter 15K

Thank you for participating in our marketplace and engaging in negotiations for the domain Unfortunately the party interested in your domain, has cancelled their offer and ended the bid thread.

Really, the seller should be able to cancel right away. The forced counteroffer favors the buyer.

You don't have to, you can do nothing. After awhile, Sedo will cancel it with - "Negotiations cancelled by Sedo due to inactivity."

List on DomainNameSales instead.. I don't believe they force counteroffers.
