I do not think so, it is easy to remember combination, it is palindrome, and it has premium numbers (no 0 and no 4), i.e. chineese friendly.

I think it was a good (or even very good) price imho.

so it was you Valdimir? :p
congrats, it is a great name, besides there are about twenty potential end-users (i checked this info)

i couldn't watch their end so i put a proxy bidding
ora is also an adverb in portuguese and it is used when you want to give options in a sentence for a choice

O-H-G,com is mine :hehe:
what does it mean (i don't know german)?

i saw one definition as official hotel guide then i went for it
it can be a good hotel directory site

thanks, I did not know that there were so many meanings and potential endusers for o-r-a.com, I just liked the name.

o-h-g as the online hotel guide or official hotel guide sounds very strong.

OHG (open trading company) in Germany (OG in Austria) is a form of a company representing general partnership, see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_partnership:

general partnership or simply a partnership, refers to an association of persons or an unincorporated company with the following major features:

Formed by two or more persons
The owners are all personally liable for any legal actions and debts the company may face
Created by agreement, proof of existence and estoppel.

O-R-A was my favorite out of all, but I think there were better deals available yesterday.

Definitely a strong one (O in the beginning A at the end), some words in different languages (in Romanian it means hour), easy to remember, and many possible end users.

But it was the most expensive of all too on the other hand. Looking solely at the domain without taking into consideration the other deals there were available yesterday, this one is a nice investment overall.

it was the most expensive of all because i had proxy bid on it and i couldn't imagine somebody would fight for it
if i hadn't it would have gone for less

and, besides google results, I really liked the name.

If I like the name, I am ready to go higher (but of course I set a limit for the max price in mind, and often lose the fight, i.e. as i have lost auction for dato.com - I had a limit of 9,000 in mind, someone made a 9,001 bid, but I was not prepared to go higher, and left him win. With O-R-A.com I was prepared to go higher than 150 (however, I do not want to disclose the price limit I set sorry :tu: )

In my opinion premium L-L-L may rise quite strong soon, because they have numerous acronyms and are short. Another point is that the are just about 5,000 of them (thus less suply on the market comparing to prem. LLLL.com, thus less price fluctuation during current recession times). With premium LLL.com selling for $15-20K+, L-L-L.com shall be at least at mid xxx in few years. All imho.

g-t-o is nice, but I am not in the auction

By the way, if someone was bidding for f-n-m.com, what acronyms did you have in mind? I was thinking of Friday Night Music. Not really commercial probably, but like a site for a listing music/party events for coming weekends.

But also we must add into account that what? Some 4000 or more of them are already developed..... so supply is limited even more!

Are they all-premium?

If not, I wouldn't.
