I have quite a few L-L-L.com domains. Most of them have zero or little value. A domain with all premium letters or spells out a word, may have some value, but it's difficult to find a buyer. None of those domains you quote above are developed, and so I'd say the buyers were mugs to have paid those prices. They were random sales in my opinion. I pay $2.50 - $5 a pop for similar domains in bulk here on NamePros. Even quite a good name like U-S-D it's difficult to find a buyer. I'd put it's retail value at about $1k, if you can find a buyer. But the harsh reality is probably you will never sell this domain. YMMV.

To an end user you could likely get $xxx to $xxxx for any random l-l-l.com but those types of sales seem fairly few and far between and rely on finding the perfect buyer.

Around here they seem to often go for between $x and $xx.

I think end-user demand is still the same.

Domainer demand on the other hand... that is something else, but there does nto seem to be any action with the hyphens.

It is fairly common to find L-L-L.com domains at reg fee where 5, 6, 7 or more other extensions are registered - and many are in use. The interest is mostly in Europe. I don't know any other area of domains where you can routinely get the com in the face of other extensions in use.

Stub is correct, there is no market for these now. Someday that may change, but not soon.

Probably this question is better to raise to a Chinese NP member. However, as even 5L are being snapped nowadays, and chinese LLLL.com are over a $1,000 per piece, I would expect L-L-L.com, especially Chinese letters, will attract some attention.

I would also expect that N-N-N.com will be snapped first (currently 111 left out of 1.000, with only three of the still available ones do not contain "4"), and then L-L-L.com (17,5K total, of which 8K are chinese premium).

I also was thinking of this, however I started with N-N-N.com - only 1,000 exist and only ca. 100 available.

With all other masks rising in price (LLL.com, LLLL.com, LLLL.net, 5N.com, 6N.com, etc), even ic Chinese may not like dash, with small number of L-L-L.com (and much smaller number of N-N-N.com) available, they might be well bought by other international enduser, which will shift from much more expensive alternatives. However, I think that due to their scarcity both L-L-L.com and N-N-N.com may in the future be considered as something more exclusive that i.e. 5L/5N com.

On a second thought, regged today a dozen premium letters L-L-L.com domains. If something changes, and there will be a ran on L-L-L.com, all premium letters domains may be gone quickly, as happend with chinese premium LLLL.net this summer (4-5 months ago still in free reg, today are selling for 50-80 dollars a piece).
