I don't even include the .com because the good ones are long gone.
Key.Words pros:
KeyWords.web pros:
*.com visitor loss cold reverse in the long run if new gTLDs takeover .com. (see new discussion I just posted on this)
Which do you prefer and why?
Key.Words pros:
- Shortest (many sub-benefits)
- Most attractive looks in every medium of advertising
- Better for SEO as the keywords are separated and real words
- Saying "key dot words" sounds awkward compared to key words dot web
- No ".web" or ".com" may require the prefix www. which is cumbersome to say in order for people to know it's a URL.
- Could easily lose visitors to the .com version for a few years to come, but ditto for .web*
KeyWords.web pros:
- Saying keywords.web sounds better
- No need to add anything to inform it's a URL
- Longer (many sub-disadvantages)
- "keywords" without any separation between the words looks awkward especially if all lowercase
- Hurts SEO due to no separation of the keywords forming one non-word
- Doesn't look as good as Life.Tips in publishing
*.com visitor loss cold reverse in the long run if new gTLDs takeover .com. (see new discussion I just posted on this)
