I've a longtime friend who operates a lot like Trump, but more toned down, so I can usually take him well enough. It's given me some experience of what really goes on with people like that. Don't underestimate them. They're cunning.

Having said that, my tough guy friend can at times be a whiner in his way.

What he is trying to do, to destroy democracy, to subvert the will of the majority of the people by manipulation and coercion, should not be underestimated in any way.

I am sure by now you probably know I don't like Trump as a person, and I don't like many of his policies.

I will say though that not everything he has done is terrible.

While these agreements are not as important as ones between places like Israel and Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine would be...Anything that potentially leads to a more stable and peaceful Middle East is a positive.

Some areas in the region have differences that are just too far to bridge currently. I don't think it is a bad thing to find agreements where you can, even if they are not the big ones. It is progress.

Likely Biden will continue selling US arms to the Saudi coalition in the Yemen conflict, an Iranian/Saudi battleground... War is good for business.
