    in regards to johnnie0018

Nahh not everything.... he is just bitter at having his account restricted.
Apparently he knows everything about everything, except how to manage his own affairs.

Funny thing is no website, no sales, no nothing. Just appears incognito flapping his lips with no facts of any sorts to back anything up. All he does is criticize namepros members when he has yet to ever sell a domain.

So nice flapping his gums totally incognito.... well not totally incognito because it seems namepros put him in his place pretty fast.

Yet if we listen to him there has never been a hand registered domain that has sold for one million.
That is post 2010 as specified by the OP.

Does he even realize that all domains registered past 2010 were hand registrations?
Yet he still argues that none could have, or did sell at 1 million.

Then he also states that it is impossible to sell ANY new registration for a million.

Any domain, I don't care when you hand registered it can sell for 1 million if an end user wants it badly enough.

Goes to show how the people with the least business knowhow have the biggest opinions. By looking at his restricted account we certainly know his vast area of business expertise. O_o

New owner of cbdoil.com said, in a published interview, that he would have easily paid double, which would have been over a million dollars for a name handregd in 2012, because he said he could recoup that million in 6 months- so there ya go. Good enough for me.

US invaded Afghanistan for what: to get narcotic stuff, not for binladen of course. 1 T worth of it per year. Then maybe it was the time to turn such stuff into cash. If you knew how the world works (I don't), you could anticipate such a trend.

I think the question is similar to this question:

“Is it possible to becoming a millionaire from panning for gold”

The answer for the both questions should be:

“It’s highly unlikely. Almost impossible. But you have a small, small, small chance if you’re a smart and hard working talent with extreme luck”

luck in domaining was in 1997 area where rick and others register them ,, now you must be creative but to find domain that worth millions its far away from easy its fact but, who make this in 2019 he much more smarter then rick and all the others, if somebody think that only one word worth millions he dont understand this game why privatejet sold for xx million nad jets.com sold 300k, its not the only one , i know someone that hold 2 words domains and he sold them more then 1m , who think the game is only for one word domain so he better exit now, everything is already in other hands,

The very first time it any name was registered was by hand so it has been already done before whether that is impossible in 2019 could be debated. If someone picks it up on drop or expired it is same thing if can be resold for a million. People have gone on vacation and will keep forgetting making all sorts of mistakes.

It is impossible but almost possible.. eg: 2 words dot com owner could see value in in same word + gtld if tld is their second word. Then again you did say million....

I've been around this domaining thingy way longer than I care to admit...I was in it before the big bubble burst nearly two decades ago.

Fortunately, I had a few decent sales back then and there have been sales beginning at 500 on up since then. Not one has ever been reported or made public by me or any of my buyers.

In the domaining sea I am a small fish and many of the big guys keeps their sale info quiet as well.

H*ll yes it's possible, and this is NO BULLONEY! 100% of my domains are hand regged, and 80% of those have a business plan/model backing them up. I've named, started and operated several businesses years ago that are still in business today generating millions of dollars in revenues annually. If you care to know who they are and what they do, I'll be glad to share names with you. So I'll give you an example of a domain that I hand regg'd that has the real potential to be a million dollar domain....LaughInns....now don't laugh, but if you don't understand the idea and concept behind this name, you shouldn't be in business for yourself. Thanks for starting this thread MadMax:ROFL:

Even with any sort of big number possibility it is all down to how the negotiation is handled. Does every million dollar domain potential even have a million dollar price tag on it today? Some sales also paid way more than they should have. There is so much to it besides choosing great names.

i new to this biz but move very fast, and i asked this guy how to price domain??
he told me its very hard becuase there is no logic from what reported buy if we think with logic the prices should go only up because less and less you have.com , he told me domainers need to price higher.com yet they sold them very low and he talk about very good names,,,he told me what really happen someone smart buy them then sold them for huge profits,, he told me when you have quality domain and you price it low you kill the name, its like to sell mercedes for low, it will kill the brand,

he told me that someone was one of his domains in the diamond industry from dubai so he told him 7m dollar , the buyer told him but i can buy one word for less, in the end he say take 5m, but he didnt want

he told me that you see what the problem one word domain that express something like cars and jets and so on not like where.com which no so good and so on,,, they need to price it high, they so f*cking hurt this biz he told me this guy from dubai will come back i know this, he told me how the hell someone sell jets.com for 300k , its like to sell bugatti for 50k, but in the end the smart guy hold the price maybe 300k will make less what they ask,

Just because something is possible does not mean it is probable. Whoever can market their names the best wins . . . imo. Not for a million bucks though.
