Via Twitter earlier today, TheDomains had said the sale price of Talk.Show was not $25k. The apparent buyer chimed in with the actual sale price [$50k], and later asserted to TheDomains that disclosing the price was not some amount is also a violation of NDA.

1) Was disclosing the domain didn't sell for X, a violation of NDA?

2) If it was a violation, does that void the sale, or...?

3) Do NDA's generally specify such terms, and as such, are these questions speculative without seeing the exact NDA?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Full tweet: HERE

It looks as if there are no hard feelings. ie The buyer [Roberto B] giving the seller [TheDomains] crypto advice.

Still, I wonder if revealing the sale price was not X is a violation of NDA...

It depends on what the NDA says.

Anyone can hand someone a piece of paper and say, "Sign this NDA." It's not as if there is some kind of "standard" set of terms or something.

Post the text of the NDA, and I'll be happy to tell you.

I’m not a lawyer but I’d assume an NDA would protect from any mention of a sale, not just the price
