sales $550,000 Domain Tops New Sales Chart - Another Deal Near $1 Million Revealed After NDA Expires

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Domain sales tend to slow down in the summer but two big ones top our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. The highest of those came in at $550,000, a number that also makes it one of the five biggest sales reported so far this year. The next highest sale also reached six figures. On top of that, after an NDA expired, we have learned the price paid in a nearly $1 million sale that was made last year. That one ranks as the 7th biggest sale on our 2017 Top 100 Chart. VPN.com sold for only $976,730 (~$1 million). Michael Gargiulo got a downright steal when he bought that domain name. It's worth at least double that (lucky buyer!).

IMO, this is overpriced: Inception.com sold for $550,000 (lucky seller!). It's worth at most half that to every buyer except one, but it only takes one.
