Interested in domain, how do I proceed from here?

I am thinking about contacting someone through email for their domain and would like to offer a trade: 2 (or 3) of my domains for their 1. If they should accept the offer, how is the best way to insure the seller push? Is there an online contract available for such a transaction? The domain is probably not worth more than low to mid $$ and it's only registered in the 3 majors, plus the .info which I perhaps foolishly registered, possibly adding value to the .org

Depending on the names you are going to offer, it is not likely that someone will be interested. But if they are good names, or the person thinks they are good names then you may be able to make a deal.

But if they are, I would get an idea about how trustworthy they are. If they have a good trader rating here, then you should be ok to just make the deal with them. If not, then perhaps you can find a third party to handle the transfers for you. What you would do is both transfer (push) the domains to the third party, and when they have all of them, they would transfer(push) the domains on to the new owners.

I doubt someone would be willing to trade for domains of this low caliber. And if you are contacting them through email, be prepared to pay at least 3 figures

lol chances are almost zero you will get a trade. plus it sounds like these names arent worth the cost of escrow. real hard to get a reg name on a nickel and dime budget, got to flash da cash

i think if you're interested in the domain, then you have to offer money for it.

haven't ever heard of such a trade...domains in exchange of a domain..

so, the barter system has entered the domain industry too... :D
