Hi,

I am a very recent "domainer" if I can call myself a domainer.

I have a few questions for experienced sellers.

I bought/sold many domains here on NP, but all for 150$ or lower. So I was always paying or sending money with PayPal. Did not have any problem so far.

But if I were to sell a domain for lets say $800, $1500 or more. How do you suggest to proceed? As a seller, I don't think PayPal is really safe for that kind of amount.

I hear about Escrow.com, but many people say it is not that safe either.
What Escrow service do you suggest?

Also If I sell a domain for $700, an escrow services really eats a lot of the profits. How do you deal with that? Do you price your domains knowing it will cost you $xxx in Escrow ?

Thank you for any tips and advices you can give me.
Dominic.

Sedo and escrowhill.com will escrow both the funds and the domains.

Sedo's escrow fee is 3% of the transaction price, minimum $60
Escrow hill has a fee calculator on their site - I think their minimum is $75
Sedo only allows you to handle one domain in escrow at a time
Sedo Hill allows you to escrow multiple domains in one transaction.

Sedo can be slow especially around the weekends.
