I have seen quite a few registered lately, has anyone got any comments on these names. What if there was a good keyword name, is it worth grabbing.


I believe its the Isle Of Man, but are people possibly going to use the "Instant Messaging" acronym for these domains??

I have sold SEO.IM (which isn't CVC.IM) for US$4,000 and own a couple Dog.IM and Toy.IM. To sell an .IM domain is very difficult as people are not aware what .IM is and we need to explain them and make them understand properly before they decide anything further.

If you have very strong keyword in .IM than only you may hold and see how it goes. Most of my .IM domains get decent traffic which is quite amazing but very few inquiries in total.

Well, I just picked up pal dot im which works perfectly w/ the 'instant messaging' paradigm for reg fee, it's a cvc dictionary word, so not exactly a rare breed.

The keyword has value, not the format and the extension only brings that value down when compared to others.

I've turned down $xxx offers on mart.im, pen.im, resume.im, romance.im and training.im = with keywords as strong as these, $x,xxx doesn't seem unachievable - if not immediately.

I failed to sell Air dor im so far directly, no inquires received, not even for xxx$. We'll just have to wait.

I don't recommend mass registration of .im domain even if its LLL word. The extension needs promotion and big sales to count.

The best way to find end users for your .IM domain is to search through Google.

Let's say you want to sell Themes.IM - Simply type in themes and all the relevant combinations with the word themes and contact each website owner either through the contact form or whois their email addresses.

Make sure of one thing that it's very difficult to sell .IM domains and you must have very strong keyword.

Hey, before June I wasnt aware that this extension exist. But than the promotion of Dynadot came out. I just bought famous.im and florist.im. A couple of great keywords still available.
