I picked up 10 or so .im names a few years ago. Never had any interest but they're cheap so I'll keep em just in case.

I started buying .im in 2011, thanks to @AbdulBasit.com 's drop lists, got some killer keywords.

Kept them a long time w/o any traction, then in 2022/23 sold a few for decent prices (resume, winner + 1 more) and a bulk wholesale lot to someone who subsequently dropped them.

In early 2024 saw Todd Han's post (ceo dynadot) about a renewed interest in .im from the AI angle, so got a few more. Also got a 100+ for a client, who dropped almost 60 come renewal early 2025 but kept a lot of good ones that can be used for AI agent names etc.

In Jun/Jul 2025 something happened (I think it was google using https://workspace.google.im/ which put the tld front and center of millions of workspace's paid subscribers) and .im regs went from 20k to almost 90k today.

I'm quite proud of the SLDs i have (no pun intended) and think it has potential, which is why the regs are going up without any hype or pump.
