If a ccTLD expirres...

If a ccTLD expires, will it still have a 30-grace period? I have little experience with them. I need to know ASAP. Thanks

.ca has the full 30 days
but .cc I think is only 18 or so.

I was thinking about .cc and .vc. I recently won quite a few .cc's and 2 .vc's and they are too good to not renew. But since I don't have the cash right now to renew almost $200 in domains, I was thinking of letting them expire & renewing during the grace period.

Here's how it went - so far.

The domains listed below expired on Oct. 14, 2008.

This is your final notice to renew your domain name(s)! You must renew by Oct. 26, 2008 or the domains listed below will be cancelled.

On the 26th I did receive the "Item Expiration Notice"

But it is still under my "renew" tab (not in my main profile)
and I just went in to try a renewal and it let me
do it without that extra fee. (17.99)
and this is now the 17th day.
I'll let you know when that renewal option disappears...at the regular cost
probably by tomorrow.

Thank you greatly. I just won 7 LLL.cc's that will expire in a week plus a LL.vc & a word.vc. I'll pay for them all once I get the money owed to me from SEDO. I'm trying to sell a bulk of domains and a few websites to get the cash quicker for it all but so far, no one seems interested.

Is it that a fee is charged when a .cc expires? If so, I think I'll need to renew those first.

I thought there was a "Redemption Fee" of about $60 or $80 bucks
if you go past a certain amount of time - I've never got there
so I don't know for sure
But so far the renewal is the normal rate (less of course with the discount)
