Was that enough acronyms for you?
I wonder how many domains are owned by NP members in total - 22,000? There are at least 22,000 since that is the reg'd users and only assuming 1 name per user (yeah right). So what if the average were 5, 10, 20, 50 names per reg'd user? That would be some pretty big clout. What if NP teamed up with DNJ, or others. That would be a respectable selection of those in this speculative industry.
I'm not saying for NP to get arrogant or anything, but how about trying to make things better. It really wouldn't take much more effort than what this forum does already. I mean, there are threads for many of the topics already. So, why not add a PAC (political action committee) thread; letβs through some weight around. Issue boycotts, recommendations (think of the extra revenue streams), notices, responses from OUR vendors like GoDaddy, 1and1, etc, and offer a forum for those vendors to issue replies.
When a simple dollar or a single thread about bad service can make a difference with who a client chooses, it would be nice to have that information consolidated, condensed, and concise. It would also be nice to see a vendor respond with public answers.
...just a thought I had...any other thoughts?
