hello guys i received a letter today by a company and they are in car parts business from many years based in london and they want to buy my domain name which is partsbay.co.uk .

So what do you think what price i should i offer , actually i am looking for £1000.

what are your suggestions ?

My suggestion is to tell them to make an offer. Let them know you have recieved a few offers thus far, but none of them were enough to make it worth it. Tell them if they make a reasonable offer, you'd be happy to sell. Also let them know your not crazy, and dont expect to sell it for 25,000 - but at the same time you realize the domain has value and could be perfect for almost any type of parts business...


Let them make the first offer.... always negotiate up, never down.

I agree with Spade...though keep in mind that this is a very particular name in an ext. where xxxx sales are uncommon - 100 this year vs. 1000 .nets. I would be very careful not to lose this sale or it could sit in your stable for a while.
