.mobi I am starting to see a trickle of traffic on my Mobi site

I am starting to see a trickle of traffic on my mobi site.
Just checking stats for the month and i am suprised at the small amount of traffic that is steadily increasing for my mobi sites.
The majority of people seem be surfing with nokia phones or pda phones.

This is just wonderful.
Gotta find more time and $$$ to spend on development.

Are your sites just parked or are the developed?

I only have 3 mobi's developed to date.

I was refering to the developed mobi's .

I have two "doggie" mobi's developed & I am quite surprised as I really did not think that people would be doing research about dogs on mobile phones.

My parked mobi's are probably better names, but I choose to start developing in the field I know the most about first.

Parking mobi's seems to be a waste of time.
Well mine anyway.

So can you give us a better idea of the traffic? Are you talking from 0-3 per day to 5-10 per day?

now 30 to 50 a day

Now 30 to 50 a day, which to me is very good for a mobi without promotion.

My parked mobis are only getting one to its a day, if that for some of them.

Developed mobi's are getting hits mainly from the u.s., second is turkey,then mexico, India, u.k.,iran, norway, russia, spain, brazil.

I am just a bit shocked as I did not think pets fitted into the mobile scape that well.

I now have 40 mobi dog breed names and I will put sites up on each of these with breed information and link all the doggie sites together.

The hits are only a very small trickle, but each day I am more confident that with time we can all expect a flood of traffic to our mobi sites.

I find this to be very encouraging and affirming of my belief that people don't stop having an interest in things just because they are away from their computers. Their cell phone and a friendly useful mobi site gets them the info they want when they want it...NOW, not when they get back to their computers. Thanks for sharing your experience!

When I fried my laptop approximately 6 months ago (not a good idea to try taking a laptop apart to give it a cleaning! LOL), I ended up using my pda as my main computer until I bought a new one. I actually enjoyed this experience over time -- after awhile, it became routine and wasn't much of an incovienience at all.

Hearing a news story on TV... I want the whole story NOW -- not 5 minutes from now once I my laptop has booted... Not once I get home from work... Not only when near a wifi network... The mobile web is the ultimate convienence. True mobility... True access to information :talk:
