How do I find out when a .de expires?

I can only find the the Latest update 22.10.2010 in the the denic whois search.

It's really important to me that i find out the expire date on one domain

Denic doesn't show those dates. It doesn't even show the registration date.

So you only can ask the registrant, or maybe the registrar if it's willing to tell you.

Ok thanks, i might be able to make an offer on the name and see what he says, but I need a german contact to do that. Will ask a friend in Germany. Thanks for the reply.
